A delicate-leafed plant, beautiful to look at but demanding of your attention. It requires a lot of humidity, making it perfect for the bathroom. It can be placed on a table or even in a hanging basket, where its leaves will flow gracefully downwards.

You don't want to let the soil of the Adiantum dry out so check every few days and water so that the soil remains moist but not soggy. Its roots will easily rot if they're left sitting in too much water.

You can feed in spring and summer but no need to feed during winter months.

Common problems
I think I might have killed my plant
It is a tricky one to care for. If it's looking worse for wear, trim it back closer to the stalks and it should grow again. Make sure you're not over watering it, proper drainage is important to make sure the roots don't rot.
