Plenty of light required.
You don't want to let the soil of the Adiantum dry out so check every few days and water so that the soil remains moist but not soggy. Its roots will easily rot if they're left sitting in too much water.
A humid environment will keep the plant healthy. Keep misting regularly to keep humidity high.
You can feed in spring and summer but no need to feed during winter months.
Normal room temperature of 17-21C will be fine but be careful not to expose the Maidenhair fern to draughts.
No known pests

I think I might have killed my plant
It is a tricky one to care for. If it's looking worse for wear, trim it back closer to the stalks and it should grow again. Make sure you're not over watering it, proper drainage is important to make sure the roots don't rot.
